Five Minute Friday : PASS

Five Minute Friday : PASS

Five Minute Friday : PASS

Today I’m writing along with many bloggers at Five Minute Friday on the topic PASS.

Today I’ll like to play a little game called pass. It’s just between God and me. Whatever comes my way, I just say the word “pass”.

He knows my troubles, He knows my desires, the best part is He cares. He wants the same things for me too, but even better.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

It is much better this way. He handles the play really well. He really knows the game. He is the master of the game. “casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7  In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33  And when I’ve passed my stuff on to His hands, a sense of peace encircles me. I’m not worried anymore, I don’t doubt my decisions anymore, I’m safe. Safe as I watch Him make the moves.

28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

How can my Heavenly Father forsake me! How can He let me down. He will not leave you nor forsake you. Sure the times will be tough, but He is right beside, seeing me through these trials. That is a blessed feeling. But that’s only if I let Him lead, only if I make the pass.

I’ve been playing this game for a while now my friend, and I’m having fun! I’m seeing God work in my life in ways that I’ve never imagined. Trust me, try this game, all you to say is “pass” 🙂

I enjoy learning from God’s word, it amazes me, the wisdom and treasures of God and the way He reveals them to me day after day in a profound manner. In this space I share with you what I’ve learnt through my time with the Word. I earnestly believe that learning alone isn’t sufficient but walking in the word is crucial in a believer’s life. As much as I desire to walk in the word, it’s not always easy. My hope is to encourage you, my dear friend, in your walk with God with words that He has used to strengthen my own walk with Him.
