Unnamed Women in the Bible

Write 31 days is a community of writers getting together in the month of October every year and committing to write all 31 days. In the past, I’ve participated in 2 of these writing challenges, in 2013 on 31 Bible Verses you should know by heart and in 2015 on 31 Quiet Time Thoughts from my living room to yours. This is an excellent opportunity to write consistently and delve in to one particular topic. Since bloggers will be focusing on one topic for an entire month, the amount of information and depth on each topic will be profound. Be sure to check out Write 31 days for this year’s categories and topics!

As if writing 31 days straight is not challenge enough, the topic I’ve picked for my challenge is 31 unnamed women in the Bible. Before you begin to wonder, I’ve checked, there are more than 31 unnamed women in the Bible. 🙂 This will be an exciting challenge for me as I learn in depth about these unnamed women, their backgrounds and stories and how God uses them in His grand story.

Join with me for the next 31 days to discover these unnamed women in the Bible. Subscribe by email below so you don’t miss any post. Feel free to share this on your favorite social media and lets learn together!

Speaking of writing challenges, for quite sometime I’ve been participating in the Five Minute Friday challenge where bloggers join together, every Friday and write on one word prompt provided by Kate Motaung for five minutes flat with no edits. Susan Shipe of Hope Heart Home has combined some of these posts into a book which was released on September 26th. All profits will be divided equally between two ministries in South Africa: The Vine School in Cape Town, and The Ten Dollar Tribe–so we’d love to sell as many books as possible to impact these fantastic ministries!

I enjoy learning from God’s word, it amazes me, the wisdom and treasures of God and the way He reveals them to me day after day in a profound manner. In this space I share with you what I’ve learnt through my time with the Word. I earnestly believe that learning alone isn’t sufficient but walking in the word is crucial in a believer’s life. As much as I desire to walk in the word, it’s not always easy. My hope is to encourage you, my dear friend, in your walk with God with words that He has used to strengthen my own walk with Him.
