Memory Verse Monday – Week 32

By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. Hebrews 11:3

The Bible begins by speaking about the creation of God. “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1”. It’s very clear in the scriptures that “All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. John 1:3“. And we know it’s true because “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God. 2 Timothy 3:16

I was trying to explain CREATION to a group of 3 and 4-year-old at church and we used this gesture as a tool. Creation is to make something (fold both palms together) out of nothing (open them up to show that it is empty). Not only for the little ones, even for us it is hard to believe that someone can make something out of nothing. The things which are seen were not made of things that are visible. It was made from nothing.

#creation 👉 The things which are seen were not made of things that are visible.

God created them and it is by faith we believe that the universe and all it contains, the sun, the moon and the stars were all created at the word of God. “For He spoke, and it was done;” (Psalm 33:9)

God the Creator is worthy “to receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created. Revelation 4:11” Since “all things were created through him and for him. Colossians 1:16” we need to praise and glorify God for all His mighty works. His creation makes it easy and explicit to us because everywhere we look we see His handiwork, the sky, the sea, the trees, the river, the sunset and the rainbows!

The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. Psalm 19:1

Remember the verse throughout the day as you see any one of God’s creation.

I enjoy learning from God’s word, it amazes me, the wisdom and treasures of God and the way He reveals them to me day after day in a profound manner. In this space I share with you what I’ve learnt through my time with the Word. I earnestly believe that learning alone isn’t sufficient but walking in the word is crucial in a believer’s life. As much as I desire to walk in the word, it’s not always easy. My hope is to encourage you, my dear friend, in your walk with God with words that He has used to strengthen my own walk with Him.
