Good News

It’s the beginning of fall and you feel a cool breeze sweep your feet. Leaves begin to change color. Colors that are so delightful for the eyes to behold. Then comes winter with the intricately designed snowflakes. No two flakes look-alike! Those huge mountains so majestically showcased while you are on a road trip. Ever wonder who is behind all this? Ever wonder who created you! God. He made all these things around you, and the crown of His creation YOU!

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Psalm 139:14

Yes, God created you and me for His glory. Yet, we “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

…by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned Romans 5:12

Yes, sin entered through Adam, the first man and was passed on to all humans inhabiting the earth. All of us are born with a sinful nature. You might think, “I am a good person. I don’t sin. I go to church once in a while. I do charity….” Our good deeds, my friends are nothing compared to the Holy God. “all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; Isaiah 64:6 Although we try to be nice, the original sinful nature resides in us.

What happens when we sin? We must be punished. What is the punishment? Bible says that “the wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23” But there is someone who willingly died in our place so that we will be spared.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Jesus Christ came in to the world in the form of a man and lived among us and gave Himself to be crucified on the cross for the sins of the world. As a replacement for us. Amazing isn’t it? God so loved us, that He was willing to send His only son to pay the ransom for our sins.

Well, the ransom has been made. Is that all? Are we free? Not yet. Not unless we repent from our sinful nature and believe that we are saved through the blood of Jesus Christ. Not unless we reconcile with God and accept Him as our personal savior. A savior who freed us from the sinful nature that we were born with by His death on the cross.

…he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. John 5:24

Through Him is life. Eternal Life in heaven. Eternal Life is a promise that God has in store for those who put their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and accepts Him as their redeemer.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household. Acts 16:31

Are you ready to make the decision today? Are you ready to accept that you have sinned and that Christ came to the earth to forgive your sins by dying on the cross? Are you ready to repent from your sins and turn to God? If you make that decision today, heaven will rejoice for you and you will have a hope of eternal life after death! Oh my friend, please do make that decision today. Jesus Christ is waiting to make you His child!

…there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents. Luke 15:7
